The Sheaffer Skrip ballpoint refill is a proprietary size and shape that will only fit older Sheaffer ballpoint pens. This refill is available at least in black or blue ink in a medium line width, but it is possible more options exist. We believe this refill is the predecessor of the Sheaffer K since it is the same length and rough shape. It has an interesting rear cap that is shaped like the body of a squid. This refill is generally only available on sites like eBay. One user reported that he was able to use a Fisher Space Pen PR refill and attach some heat shrink tubing cut to the appropriate length as a substitute.
