The Cross Standard Ballpoint refill is a slightly shorter version of the ISO C1 standard ballpoint refill. The distinguishing feature of this refill is the threaded, knurled cap on the back end. This will fit most Cross and Sheaffer ballpoint pens, and there are a couple other pen makers that offer models designed to use this refill. This refill is available in fine, medium, and broad line widths as well as black, blue, and red ink. Substitute refills are available from most third party refill makers, such as Jaymo and Monteverde.
